Production and processing methods

Production of fibre composite components from glass-, aramid- and carbon fibre with epoxy- or polyester resin is currently performed by the following processing methods:

 

• Prepreg/autoclave method
• Prepreg/vacuum method
• Resin injection
• Wet press method
• Manual laminating with vacuum hardening
• Manual laminating
  

 

Additionally:

 

• CNC-machining of carbon components (trim)
• 5-axis CNC-machining of solid fibre composite (e.g. carbon-inserts)
• 3-axis CNC-cuts of fibre composite panel material (e.g. cockpit panels)
